How can Life coaching help?

Coaching can touch upon many areas of an individuals life. If you were to picture a pie, and cut it into parts, the parts are the different areas of your life and the pie is your life. Without each part the pie would not be complete.

We go through our daily lives distracted without realising we haven’t take any time for ourselves and start to lose sight of what is truly important. What direction is your life currently heading? What is your overall purpose? What is something you really want to do?

I truly love working with individuals and positively impacting their lives. The three main areas I work with others outside of executive coaching is on:

I am a life coach in East Sussex, so all face to face meetings would take place locally. However with the world we are in I am also do online coaching which is primarily the work I do.

Self-Leadership – take responsibility

I am primarily a leadership coach, but I have always enjoyed coaching others in various areas on ones life because the impact it has is monumental.

For me, personal coaching is self-leadership coaching. Where leadership is about serving, influencing and getting the best out of others, self-leadership is similar but just for ourselves.

Would you prefer a life of living without fear or a life without regrets?

Too often we find ourselves avoiding fear as much as we possibly can. It isn’t surprising who really enjoys feeling fear. However, what if you had a companion on your journey who supported you, but also challenged you? Helped you come up with your own ways of creating your path, walking the path and dealing with obstacles along the way until you found what it was you set out for.

The alternative is living with a life of regret. For me, that weighs a lot heaving upon me that facing up to my fears (I have plenty and I am always learning)

In our lives we come across plenty of opportunities, and this, for me, is really divided into four key areas.

  1. Relationships
    1. The one we have with yourself
    2. The ones we have with others
  2. Clarity
    1. We usually know what we don’t want, but unsure about what we do want
    2. We lack clarity therefore have no direction
  3. Change
    1. It is inevitable but can create many feelings
    2. Anxiety around what is coming, or what isn’t
    3. The need for adaptability
    4. Optimism
  4. Mindset
    1. What gets us here may not get us there (it may)
    2. The need for more empowering thought patterns
    3. Do our beliefs provide us with a strong platform? Have they served their purpose?

I have a real passion for personal development, and when I got into coaching and witnessed its power I got hooked. I believe everyone deserves to have the best life they wish to lead, but unfortunately not enough people take action. Rather than focusing on dealing with their flaws, insecurities and negative feelings they try to replace them with material items. All of the above should be appreciated, looked at and a new way found to go forward with.
